Hurricane Sandy Relief

When Hurricane Sandy barreled ashore, it caused a 13-foot storm surge to flood parts of New York City, killing at least 53 people and filling more than 100,000 homes with seawater and slime. Months later, many homeowners were still working to restore gutted homes.

Brotherhood Mutual organized a corporate mission trip to help Hurricane Sandy victims in May 2013. A large team of agency representatives and home office employees worked next to homeowners and local church volunteers to restore storm-damaged homes in Staten Island, New York.
